6th International Workshop on Electrostatic Storage Devices (ESD 2015) has been successfully held during June 8-11, 2015, at Tokyo Metropolitan University and RIKEN, Japan. Nearlly 60 people have attended the workshop.

Scope

Recent worldwide rapid progress in electrostatic storage devices for ion beams opened a door to a new experimental research field on molecular ions both large and small, highly charged ions, and atomic clusters. Tokyo Workshop ESD 2015 will be the 6th International Workshop in a series started in Eilat, Israel 2005 in 1989. The workshop will bring together researchers with interests in development of instruments and procedures as well as in research with low-energy stored ion beams via a wide variety of accesses to them. Atomic and molecular processes in atmosphere, interstellar spaces, and plasma, spectroscopy and dynamics of complex biomolecular and cluster ions, and the interdisciplinary field of them will be also within a scope.
